FaithPilgrimage.com is owned and operated by a small team. We are not a large corporation. We collect as little data as possible, and what we do collect is used only to understand how the site is used and to improve it.

What we collect

Analytics. We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use the site, which pages are visited, how long visitors spend on each page, which links are clicked. This data is anonymous and aggregated. It does not identify individual users. We use this information to understand which content is working and which pages need improvement.

Email subscriptions. If you subscribe to our preparation guide newsletter, we collect your email address and store it. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the link in any newsletter we send. We do not share your email with any third party except our email service provider (Mailchimp or equivalent), which is contractually obligated to keep it private.

Affiliate links. When you click a Viator affiliate link, Viator may set a cookie to track the referral. We have no control over what data Viator collects. Their privacy policy applies to any data they collect, not ours.

What we do not collect

We do not collect: names, addresses, phone numbers, passport details, travel plans, or any information that could identify you as an individual. We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with advertisers. We do not use third-party tracking pixels or behavioral advertising.

Cookies

We use a minimal number of cookies: one for analytics (to distinguish unique visitors), one for any newsletter subscription preferences you set. We do not use advertising cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser if you prefer, though some site features may not work correctly without them.

Third-party links

Our site contains links to Viator.com. When you click those links, you leave our site and Viator's privacy policy and cookie policy take over. We are not responsible for what Viator collects or how they use it. Review Viator's privacy policy at viator.com if this matters to you.

Your rights

You have the right to: ask what data we hold about you (if any), request deletion of any personal data we hold, opt out of analytics tracking by disabling cookies, unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@faithpilgrimage.com.

Changes to this policy

If we change this privacy policy, we will update the date at the bottom of this page. If the change is significant, we will note it more prominently on the site.
